Post-Emmy Party Review
By Freelance Writer Eugenia Wright
While many celebs made the rounds to all the so called A list parties such as the one at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, which are usually whack anyway, serious LA Urbanites and Hip Hop King Pins knew that the one and only fun party to be Sunday Night (Emmy night) was at the one being held at The World Famous Conga Room, formerly owned by Jennifer Lopez.

After all, Original Chicago Gangster Filmmaker Jerry Jones, Creator of the blaxploitation classic series Dolemite, was in the house. In gangster fashion he arrived with an entourage that included his recent discovery, Hattie Bee Fishburne (Laurence Fishburne's mom) who stars in his new play "When Muddy Waters Wasn't Muddy." Also in the group included Comedy Store Vet Sweet Mama Sweets who portrays legendary comedienne Moms Mabley in this theatrical production. Rebecca Pacino (Al's lil sis) accompanied by Kat Kramer (Stanley Kramer's daughter) naturally gravitated to Jones and were seen cozing up to and posing with the ex-mob filmmaker. Guests were treated to an open bar and it was up in the club all night long till the last call, ya know.
The party was appropriately titled The Blue Jean Post-Emmy Party as clothing labels such as Hippie Girl, Roca Wear, Pony, Azzure', and Akademiks were in full effect and delivered a fashion show with gorgeous models-- male, female and gender benders strutting like ponies. Christion performed live. The Conga Room was the place to be, no doubt.
Every hot crowded affair seems to have a shooting, well there was no exception here, but of a different kind. The official and unofficial photographer for the night was trigger happy photojournalist Vinni Ratcliff who was shooting folks all night long.
This was another hot Echoing Soundz event.
