SERIOUS AIRPLAY FOR POP ROCK SINGER DOUGLAS WOOD ON SIRIUS RADIO NETWORK

The openly Gay singer, son of St. Louis preacher is making inroads into the nations Gay communities with heavy play rotation on the popular radio network

DOUGLAS WOOD, an openly Gay Pop Rock/Singer is getting serious airplay on Sirius Radio Network. Three songs from his recent CD “Broken” (1) The Band Played On; (2) A Picture of You and (3) Five Hundred Arms are “in heavy rotation,” according to Jeremy Hovies, network representative.

“With his latest CD, DOUGLAS WOOD proves that pop music doesn’t have to be insipid, even in an era of boy bands and tummy-baring bimbos. His heartfelt songs—and beautiful vocals—are both smart and catchy. In fact, I defy anyone to get the title track ‘Broken’ out of his head after he’s heard it.” --Frank DeCaro (Sirius Radio)

DOUGLAS WOOD is a complex artist whose life is reflected in his songs. His poignant lyrics set to dance beats is receiving wide acceptance not only from a Gay audience but Mainstream as well. He writes, “I make no apologies.”

Wood is a unique artist. Like a unicorn in a stable of horses, he is a standout.

“Broken” is available on Rubber Glue Records www.douglaswood.net
