OPRAH GIVES AUDIENCE $4.5 MILLION WORTH OF GIFTS
Talk
show host Oprah Winfrey was in a charitable mood on the November
22nd show, as she gave 300 teachers in her studio audience
$4.5 million in gifts, the New York Post reports. Some of
the items given to the stunned audience members included a
washer/dryer, Sony laptop computer, car navigation system
and 30-inch LCD TV.
The stunt was all part of the annual "Oprah's Favorite
Things" show, where each holiday season she furnishes
