R&B Singer DVYNE dubbed “The Black Helen of Troy” and Hollywood’s newest goddess held a star studded CD release event @ the Wyndham Bel Age. Many Hollywood music and film luminaries turned out in droves to lend their support on a Presidential red carpet that lit up like the 4 th of July.
Los Angeles, CA , Monday, August 29 th, 2005- Newcomer singing sensation DVYNE dubbed “The Black Helen of Troy” hosted an elaborate CD Release and Listening Party at the 5 star Wyndham Bel Age Hotel in the heart of West Hollywood.

Also in attendance was a devoted fan by the name of Elizabeth Clark and her husband who at their own expense flew in from Kansas for the special occasion.
DVYNE did not disappoint. She made a stunning entrance in a red exotic beaded outfit, fit for an Arabian princess and then later changed into a shimmering silk powder blue elegant dress. Her flawless skin and camera ready physique was a prime target for the media that attended in droves and their flash bulbs lit up like the 4 th of July when she stepped out on the red. It was red on red blazing hot. And when " Bay Watch Beach Babe" Traci Bingham greeted DVYNE “The Black Helen of Troy” on the red carpet, it was siren to siren as they gave great eye candy creating paparazzo frenzy . Throughout the wee hours of the night, the media turned out to take a look at DVYNE, Hollywood’s newest chocolate goddess.
DVYNE was supported by her family and proud mom Barbara Whitfield a jazz artist, who introduced the new star to those in attendance. Whitfield offered a mother’s heart-warming perspective of her multi-talented daughter.
The Wyndham rolled out their Presidential plush red carpet to accommodate the illustrious guests. Champagne popped and servers hustled and flowed the bubbly and hors d'oeuvres to accommodate the overwhelming number of celebrities and their entourages that attended the affair. Nigerian business mogul Emmanuel Chioma and husband to DVYNE, was an eloquent and generous host making sure all guests received their due VIP treatment.
The party held in the Ten 20 Night Scene @ The Wyndham was made possible by Kevin Rouse. His own band The Eleven O’clock Band entertained all guests and played on and on til the AM.
DVYNE’s performance was extremely well received and the buzz is that her record deal is within grasp.
