CHRISTOPHER STOKES REVEALS PLANS BEHIND CLOTHING LINE DEBUT

Veteran film director and music producer, Christopher Stokes, who has managed top musical acts such as Marques Houston, Brandy and Omarion, recently revealed details surrounding the February 2007 launch of his high-end, contemporary street wear fashion line, Christopher Brian Apparel. From a line of sleek sunglasses to be sold exclusively at Solstice® stores and to the endorsement signing of stylist Kim Kardashian, 2007 will usher in a brand ready to take both the entertainment and fashion industries by storm.
Stokes will debut the fall 2007 collection of Christopher Brian Apparel February 13-16, 2007 in Las Vegas at MAGIC Marketplace, a fashion industry trade event that attracts the most influential global designers and buyers in the business. While the line has been pursued by many interested vendors, Stokes has chosen to uphold a level of exclusivity in the first year, selling strictly to upscale specialty retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue®, Barney's®, Neiman Marcus® and Nordstrom®.
Stokes has always been in tune with the latest fashion trends. He oversaw the wardrobe collections of widely popular musical performers B2K and IMX, the actors on the set of his film "You Got Served," and has kept his appreciation for chic urban wear finely honed. "I created the line, after years of perfecting an intricate eye for style through studying design and browsing countless lines worldwide," says Stokes. "Christopher Brian Apparel is 'the brand for the million dollar man,' with only the use of the finest quality of wool, cashmere, and lamb skin leather. The line is fresh yet timeless, and will truly please customers in search of an exclusive fit and a comparable price tag to that of other high end fashion houses."
Stokes recently signed celebrity wardrobe stylist, Kim Kardashian, to lead a multimillion dollar ad campaign. Kardashian, as the spokes model, will promote the women's line of the Christopher Brian Apparel brand. She will appear in all advertisements slated for 2007 and will design pieces to be sold in addition to the men's line in her boutique store, Dash, in Calabasas, California in the spring and summer of 2008. Stokes explains, "Kim was chosen because her keen sense of fashion aligns perfectly with Christopher Brian Apparel. She styles some of Hollywood's elite stars because of her ability to create amazingly smart fashion pairings. It is a partnership that I believe will lead this brand into the future."
Establishing an innovative core, Stokes, who oversees all sectors of production, design and marketing, maintains his line is more than just noticeable. Sunglasses from Christopher Brian Apparel will be sold in the summer of 2007 exclusively at Solstice® sunglass boutique store's top ten markets nationwide, for the first year's release. The glasses will portray the brand's naturally sophisticated and timeless blueprint. In the fall of 2008, a line of accessories including bags and shoes for men and women will also be available. Stokes has merged entertainment and retail influences together to design clothing and accessories inspired by the chronicles of his work in music, film, fashion and life.
