Usher to hit the Big Screen

The all singing, dancing, Mr Entertainment who just walked away with 11 Billboard Awards, and recently nominated for 8 Grammys is hitting the big screen.

Usher will star in the MGM film Step in the Name of Love, a movie described as an urban Saturday Night Fever. The story, set in Chicago in the world of "steppin".

Usher, no stranger to the screen has already appeared in various films; Light it Up, The Faculty, She's All That and Disney's Geppetto and Texas Rangers. He's also have star roles on network television shows like American Dreams, Twilight Zone, The Bold and the Beautiful, Moesha, and Seventh Heaven.

Ushers last album CONFESSIONS debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album charts, setting an astonishing seven Soundscan sales records and selling 1.1 Million albums the first week.
