SNOOP RETURNS TO WIFE

Seven months after he filed for divorce, Snoop Dogg (real name: Calvin Broadus) says he is trying to put his crumbled marriage back together with his wife of nearly seven years, Shante Broadus according to STAR Magazine.

"I know I said I wanted a divorce, but that ain't what I really wanted. That's the devil working," the 33-year-old rap star cryptically said, adding that he had cheated on Shante, his childhood sweetheart. (The couple has three kids between the ages of 4 and 10.) "My thing was, I was so demanding and not willing to listen... I just got to come back to being Calvin, you know, and realizing what matters most to me, my wife and my kids."

Shante was said to have disliked her hubby's involvement in adult films (the film series he produced, Snoop Dogg Doggystyle, was a best-seller), and Snoop has vowed he will no longer produce adult films. But some aren't so sure. "It's tough to see the credence in Snoop's vow to turn over a new leaf," says entertainment critic Dan Lorenzo, citing Snoop's vow to stop smoking pot. (He's since started up again.) "It's very difficult to teach any dog new tricks."
