Quentin Tarantino was so taken with Vivica A Fox’s bottom while they were working on Kill Bill together, he insisted on using specialty equipment to light it. While most stars prefer complimentary lighting on their faces, the actress opted for a "booty light". She explains, "When I made the film Kill Bill, Quentin said that I was famous for my derriere, so, on certain shots, he would have a booty light. "We did the fight choreography and when I kicked her (co-star Uma Thurman) through the door, there was this special light on my booty."

Opportunities to hang with Alicia Keys, Kanye West and Usher in the studio during their recording sessions will be up for auction on eBay beginning Oct. 11. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Step Up Women's Network, a nonprofit organization that seeks to fortify community resources for women.

Dave Chappelle may have stepped away from television, but fans can soon see the funnyman on the big screen. Rogue Pictures has bought the worldwide rights to the comedian's concert film Dave Chappelle's Block Party. The flick features Dave's stand-up material and live performances from Kanye West, Erykah Badu, Mos Def and a reunion of the Fugees. The movie was filmed last year in Brooklyn, N.Y., by director Michel Gondry

Lil' Kim has teamed up with Edmonds Entertainment (Babyface and Tracey Edmonds' company) to produce her own reality television series. The show, tentatively titled Lil' Kim Goes to the Big House, centers on Kim's final days of freedom before she dons an orange jumpsuit. No word on which network will pick up the series.

Jimmy James Johnson pleaded guilty Wednesday to assault charges stemming from an incident at the 2004 Vibe Awards. A Los Angeles judge sentenced Jimmy to one year in prison and ordered him to stay away from Dr. Dre for three years. At the Nov. 15 event, Jimmy punched Dre, kicking off a full-scale brawl in which Young Buck allegedly stabbed Jimmy with a butter knife.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has announced plans to launch a line of beauty products especially for men. Combs, already a successful fashion designer, is planning to unveil a new cologne early next year (06) as the prelude to his full range of male grooming products. He says "I have a fragrance that's starting my beauty line. It's called Unforgivable. I did it with Estee Lauder and that comes out in January. I'm into men's beauty products."

Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Missy Elliott, R. Kelly, Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz, Lauren Hill, Mary J. Blige, Yolanda Adams, Babyface, James Brown, Snoop Dogg, The O’Jays, and Ciara are among the artists joining Michael Jackson on his hurricane relief song, “From The Bottom of My Heart.” All proceeds will be donated to victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Tori Spelling splits from husband, Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Tori Spelling has split from her husband Charlie Shanian, after just 14 months of marriage.

Supermodel Tyra Banks used the occasion of the taping of her TV talk show to answer charges that she's had breast implants. Banks removed her bra from under her shirt and had a plastic surgeon examine her to confirm that her breasts are totally natural.

Veteran rap group Public Enemy will release their new album, New Whirl Odor, on October 4th. The group's new album will be released through a new exclusive agreement between Best Buy and Chuck D's SLAMJamz Records which allows Best Buy and BestBuy.com the exclusive rights to sell the album from October 4th to November 1st.

LeToya Luckett, one of the early members of Destiny's Child will be releasing her first solo CD in February of next year. The first single from the self-titled album will be the song "All Eyes on Me." According to Billboard, producers Jermaine Dupri, Scott Storch and Jazze Pha will contribute to the project, as will rappers Slim Thug and Mike Jones.
