In a joint statement the couple said: "Having tried exceptionally hard to make our relationship work given the daily pressures surrounding us, it is with sadness that we have decided to go our separate ways. Halle Berry has reportedly signed on for another big screen project, this time opposite actor Benicio Del Toro.
Chaka Khan’s son, Damien Patrick Holland was acquitted of murder charges stemming from the shooting death of a teen two years ago. MTV.com reports that Pharrel Williams and Kanye West were in Miami last weekend to shoot the video for Williams's next single, "Number 1." Williams produced the song under his Skateboard P moniker and features guest vocals from West. "Number 1" is the first time the two musical giants have worked together. The list names the most successful women in film, TV, music, sports and fashion who have “a tremendous amount of buzz surrounding them, undeniable beauty and a promise of greater things to come.” This is the first time Maxim has bestowed the number one honor back to back. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan have both agreed to star in the upcoming Rush Hour 3. The film will start production this fall for a planned 2007 release.

Soul singer Isaac Hayes is celebrating after his wife Adjowa gave birth to their first child together. Adjowa gave birth to an 8 pounds, 5 ounce son named Nana Kwadjo Hayes on 10th April, but they only released the information on May 17th. Lopez is reportedly pregnant with her first child. Rumors started
to circulate when the singer cancelled her tour without explanation. According
to In Touch Magazine the star is three months pregnant and the baby will
be born around Christmas.

Blaine, who failed to break the world record for holding his
breath underwater, has announced his next stunt will be living among wild
animals in the jungle. The 33-year old was released from a New York City
hospital last week, after spending seven days in a spherical aquarium.
Blaine needed medical treatment after suffering convulsions and passing
out while attempting to hold his breath for nine minutes.
