Ascap to honor Jermaine Dupri at 22nd Annual Pop Music Awards
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) announced on Thursday that it will present Jermaine "JD" Dupri with the ASCAP Golden Note Award during the 22nd Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards gala. The invitation-only awards dinner will take place on Monday, May 16th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The event will also honor the songwriters and publishers of ASCAP's most performed songs of 2004.

Wycleff Jean preparing to pitch new car
Wycleff has switched his focus from music to motor cars - he's pitching a sports car he's designed to car company giants Mercedes Benz and Chrysler. The former Fugee says his automobile creation will be affordable to aspiring motorists despite being a cross between a Ferrari and a Corvette. Serena and Venus Williams to star in their version of a tennis reality show
The sisters' off-court lives, their family, friends and the glamour of big-time tennis will be featured in a six-episode show that is still untitled but set to premiere on ABC Family in July. "The series will provide our fans with an up-close, inside look at our lives away from the tennis courts," Venus Williams said.

50 Cent is breaking records at the top of the singles charts in America after claiming four tracks in last weeks Billboard Hot 100 top 10. It’s the first time any act has landed such a feat since The Beatles notched up five hits in one weeks top 10 back in 1964.

Britney has bun in the oven
It’s official, Britney Spears and her husband of seven months, Kevin Federline, are expecting a baby. The 23-year-old singer is three months pregnant, according to sources close to the couple, and an official announcement confirming the happy news is expected to be released this weekend.
