Colin Farrell passes time on movie sets by singing songs from famous musicals. Farrell is currently filming Ask The Dusk with Salma Hayek and Idina Menzel with and loves the attention he gets when he serenades his beautiful female co-stars. Menzel gushes, "He would sing Rent songs to me. He told me how much he loved musical theatre, which you would never know."

Shyne has converted to Judaism, changing his name to Moses.
Naomi Campbell is thrilled after legendary singer Tina Turner gave her the jacket she wore in the video to We Don’t Need Another Hero. Campbell chose the old Wrangler jacket from Turner's closet after her own jacket was stolen at a party. She says, "Tina took me to her house and said, 'What do you want?' She had some amazing Alaia, but I wanted that denim jacket."
Singer and songwriter Bobby Valentino, who heated up the airwaves with Slow Down and the second single Tell Me last year, is at work on the follow-up to his 2005 debut, Disturbin' Tha Peace Presents Bobby Valentino. Valentino has apparently been in the studio working on the album with Rodney Jerkins, Dre & Vidal, Tim & Bob and Bryan Cox. It should be out summer 06.
Shakira’s racy music video for her song Don’t Bother, has angered a nun at the Catholic high school she attended in her youth. The singer had a strict religious upbringing and insists she will never compromise her faith to sell music. Shakira says, "One of the nuns is looking for me after seeing the Don't Bother video." "A lot of people think I like to expose my body, but I don't. It's just because the dance moves require it." The singer sought a priest's blessing before sharing a torrid embrace with Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz for her latest video La Tortura, because she is in a committed relationship with her fiancé, Antonio De Le Rua, the son of Argentina's former president. She adds, "I always try not to be graphic but to be metaphorical. "I think there is something fascinating about stimulating the senses."
Lil’ Jon is following in the footsteps of fellow rapper Snoop Dogg by starring in his own pornographic films. In the first red-hot movie, LIL' JON'S VIVID VEGAS PARTY, the singer doesn't have sex on camera but does appear during numerous flesh-filled scenes. At one point, Lil' Jon - who performs the film's score - says, "I love my job!", writes website PageSix.com. Lil' Jon's Vivid Vegas Party is directed by C-Mizzle and Shy Dawg and is the first of two porn movies to be released on DVD the rapper will appear in for sex industry company Vivid.
Halle Berry has revealed that she threw up on the set of the new X-Men movie - after a number of stunts. She had to perform flying scenes as weather-changing character Storm. According to British tabloid The Sun Halle said: "There was a lot of wirework and spinning. By the end of the scene I was off the wire and walking back to the trailer - then blurrrgh! I hurled." X-Men: The Final Stand will be released later this year.

Rapper T.I. is moving forward with plans to launch his own clothing line. The rapper told allhiphop.com, "I'm working on my fashion line right now, we're just looking for the appropriate distributor to team up with. I'm stepping into another industry that I really don't know much about. (So) I just keep doing what I do. I individualize (myself) from others but continue to give them what I think they may like to wear and what I would like to wear, and just keep giving to my fan base." He added, "My fashion would be considered upscale urban. It will be (in) competition with Sean John and Ralph Lauren -- the big boys." |
