Rapper Cassidy (aka Barry Reese) turned himself in to Philadelphia police on charges including murder, attempted murder and reckless endangerment stemming from an April 15 shooting, in which a 22-year-old man was killed. According to authorities, Cassidy and two other suspects, armed with several weapons, allegedly fired on three other men during a dispute outside a house in Philadelphia.

Leonardo DiCaprio was hit with a bottle while attending a Hollywood party given by Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend and needed about a dozen stitches to close a wound near his ear, People Magazine reported on its Web site. The magazine said DiCaprio was at a party at about 4 a.m. Friday at the home of Rick Salomon when a woman struck him with what appeared to be a beer bottle. No ambulance was called but friends took the actor to a hospital where he received about a dozen stitches.

For the first time ever, Oprah Winfrey has topped Forbes magazine's Celebrity 100, the annual list of the world's most powerful pop-culture titans. Oprah's $225 million intake last year helped her top the tally, which is determined by a combination of salary and media presence. Tiger Woods, Shaquille O'Neal and Will Smith are among the other fortunate celebs on the list.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has landed himself in prison; well, sort of. The actor plays a probation officer who helps teenage inmates learn life lessons through football in the film Gridiron Gang. "It's a true story that took place about 12, 13 years ago," says the Rock, whose next movie is the action flick Doom, opening Oct. 21.

Former boxing champ Evander Holyfield has been knocked out of the competition on a new TV dancing contest. A week after the US debut of hit show DANCING WITH THE STARS, Holyfield became the second competitor to be sent home after failing to impress judges with his fancy footwork. Meanwhile, model Rachel Hunter and her partner rose from being in the bottom to clinching Wednesday night's top score of 26 out of 30. The show, a spin-off from British series STRICTLY COME DANCING.

An enterprising movie fan is trying to sell a jar of "celebrity air" on auction website eBay after `trapping' it at the Hollywood premiere of MR + MRS SMITH last week. The canny fan has taken pictures of himself `capturing' the air and placing a lid on the jar, just feet away from the stars of the film, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. He claims the pictures were taken for authenticity, and the jar hasn't been opened since he sealed the air inside.

Rapper TI has announced plans to star in a movie based on his life - and he promises it will be grittier than Eminem’s 8 Mile. TI (aka Clifford Harris), is currently overseeing the development of the film, which he's adamant will be a more realistic taste of the ghetto than Eminem's 2003 hit movie, which was loosely based on his life. He says, "I think it'll be more dramatic and more action-packed. "My trouble was a little more extreme; getting in shootouts, going to jail, selling dope. Em had domestic problems; I had ghetto problems."
